Christmas Tree Photography

Have you ever wondered how to take a picture in front of your tree without a flash? If you have a camera that will allow you to manually control your settings you will be able to take a photo just like this. Here are the settings to the pictures I took of my daughter in front of our tree.
I have a Nikon D7000 camera.
ISO: 1600
Aperture: f/1.8
Shutter Speed: f/30

Tip: Make sure there are no distractions in the picture like cords, vents or windows. This allows for the focus to be on your subject in front of the tree.

Elder {P} Texas Mission at the Timpanogos Temple

School Pictures {T} Family

The {R} Family

We had originally planned to be outdoors but because of traffic and other complications we decided to move the photo shoot indoors. I was able to bring my studio lights to the comfort of their home and we found a great spot in their basement. Great smiles! Fantastic family.
